Adult Group Homes or
Board and Care Homes
This style of living is more commonly called Residential Care Homes
and isthe highest level in assisted living/custodial care. With the
warm setting of a home and only 2 -10 members to each household, these
homes offer care as no other facility can. Most homes are in a
residential neighborhood and caregivers are accessible 24 hours a day
to offer you or your loved one with personalized care. Some offer much
more personal care than large assisted living. With great
concern and dignity they offer help with incontinence care, ,
toileting, , dressing, bathing, ambulating, grooming, transfers, and
medication management and much more. You will enjoy home-cooked meals,
outings and social gatherings with friends and family as well as
emotional support from staff.

The Large Assisted Living environment is more of an independent or apartment style of living. They can develop a plan with as much
